Legal Notice

Our Legal notice and terms of conditions are as follows:

• • A 60% deposit is required to process the order
  • Payment of the deposit signifies acceptance of the quote, terms and conditions
  • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the description of items on the quotation/invoice is correct
  • Delivery will be made within 30 to 40  working days,however couches and tailored furniture (completely new design) may take up to 45 working days to be delivered. The client will be notified of any delays should they be encountered.
  • Full payment is required prior to delivery
  • Exchanges are only applicable under the following terms:
    • If the items delivered are different from the items described in the invoice/quotation
    • Setters is notified of such a difference within 7 days from delivery date
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the deposit being paid attract a handling fee equal to 30% of the invoice total No cancellations or refunds permitted post 7 days of the deposit being paid.
  • A storage fee of R250 per item per week will be levied on orders not paid for within 1 week of completion and notifying the client.
  • No exchanges or refunds will be permitted on sale items or discounted items.
  • Orders placed during the nationwide lockdown may be delayed by a few weeks.
  • In the event that the fabric selected is discontinued after the client has placed an orders, the client undertakes to select a different fabric

Product delivery: Delivery will be made within 30 working days/ 6-8 weeks. The client will be notified of any delays should they be encountered.

Because we have an in-house architect and our furniture is manufactured in South Africa, we are able to bring to the market furniture that is not only of top quality and design, but also comes at a reasonable price and is truly proudly South African. This also allows our clients to design their own unique furniture by selecting from our wide range of wood, fabric and leather samples. With our store located in Johannesburg and consultants located in Cape Town, Durban Gaborone, Pretoria and Johannesburg, are able to deliver furniture all over South Africa and Botswana. Our mission is to bridge the gap in the African furniture industry by making designer furniture accessible to trend setters at a reasonable price. Our vision is to open Setters stores across South Africa and the rest of Africa, and reach out to all trend setters across the continent.

We deliver our own products nationwide, Our products are sold by price and not weight. We charge a standard price of R900 excluding vat for 5 items or less, plus R150 for every additional items for Johannesburg and Pretoria. Please note that the delivery price is dependent on distance
